Sylvester Oromoni (A Story On Bullying)
I'm here to talk about a serious incident that happened not too long ago.
At a school called Dowen College in Lagos, there was a boarding student, Sylvester Oromoni, an innocent, 12 year old student and some other students who were way older than him (about the ages of 15-16...so I've heard) and were BULLIES!
Now, I'm not completely sure about this next part. Hey! I wasn't there okay? I'm giving you the information I got.
Now I heard that the bullies where really terrible, that they beat poor Sylvester up! I also heard that they bullied him into drinking poison or something. His Dad said that a strange black liquid was found in his stomach.
I think I'm pretty sure about this next part.
Sylvester (with the dangerous drink inside him) was found to be hurt in the school. After being taken to the school clinic, was taken to a proper hospital with his parents where he told his parents what happened but it was too late he... DIED! So very sad!!!.
Anyway as for the bullies, I heard some fled abroad and they are being HUNTED down (I think).
I'm here to say that bullying is BAD! We should never do it and if you already are, STOP! Some of you must think 'What's the big deal?'
Well, THIS! This is the big deal! Nobody likes bullying. I don't even understand why bullies BULLY. It makes no sense to trouble innocent people for fun! Please stop and Help stop bullying! You may not be a bully but you can help raise awareness.
Some people are already doing their part. My school for example has brought up a suggestion box. Some of you or your schools or other places you know are helping or doing something similar. You are not to young.
We all are citizens of PLANET EARTH and can help make the world a better and safer place so why not start now?
